A Multidisciplinary Team Formation Problem for Projects in the Aerospace Industry

Abstract

This study applies linear programming to determine the optimal structure of a multidisciplinary team in aerospace projects. The model assigns team members with various skills to different types of work while minimizing cost and ensuring appropriate resource allocation. The framework can be adapted for multiple teams and project phases.
